LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT’S DAY
27 August 2011
The special guest at the seminar will be Diarmuid Gavin – the Irish garden designer, operating since 1982 and multiple-times winner of prestigious awards at the Chelsea Flower Show. He will deliver a seminar on his designs and creations in urban areas of greenery. He will talk about his inspirations and his place of work. Diarmuid Gavin is one of the most popular creators of gardens in England, which has certainly contributed to his proprietary television programmes (BBC) promoting landscape architecture. Controversial in certain design solutions, he creates both gardens, where luxury and spontaneity is dominant, as well as muted and ascetic interiors. Author of 6 books on garden design and the history of gardens.
The seminar will be held in English and translated into Russian and Polish.
